Meet the Doctor
Gary Sexson II D.M.D., M.S.
Dr. Sexson grew up in both Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. He became fascinated with orthodontics, at age 13, while undergoing his own orthodontic treatment. He never lost the desire to become an orthodontist throughout his many years of school.
He received his dental degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. He then attended Marquette University School of Dentistry where he completed his residency in orthodontics and earned his masters degree in the specialty of orthodontics.
Dr. Gary Sexson
Dr. Sexson is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and several local dental societies. He is also actively involved in the community’s Children’s Dental Health program featuring the Give Kids a Smile campaign and treats numerous patients through the Donated Orthodontic Services program.
Dr. Sexson, along with his staff, attend numerous workshops and seminars to keep abreast of the constantly changing aspects of orthodontic care and treatment in order to better serve our patients.
Dr. Sexson is happily married with two grown children, Gabriela and Gary III. In his spare time, he likes to play golf, travel, spend time with his family and dabble in local politics.
